Fall Weddings: One of My Favourite Seasons to Say “I Do” 🍂🤍

There is just something about a fall wedding.

Maybe it’s the golden light, the crisp air, the changing leaves or the feeling that summer is slowly giving way to something a little more cozy and romantic. Whatever it is, fall has a way of making a wedding feel incredibly special.

And after years in the bridal world, I can honestly say fall is one of my favourite wedding seasons.

The beauty of a fall wedding

Fall gives couples so much to work with when it comes to creating their wedding aesthetic.
Think warm neutrals, champagne, ivory, deep burgundy, rich greens and soft blush. Add candles, textured florals, velvet ribbons and seasonal greenery, and suddenly the entire celebration feels warm and intentional.

And then there are the dresses. ✨

Fall is the perfect season for adding a little more drama to your bridal look. Long sleeves, beautiful lace, detachable sleeves, romantic overskirts, luxurious fabrics and dramatic veils can all create that beautiful transition from summer romance to autumn elegance.
And don’t forget the guest dress!

One of the things I love about fall weddings is how much fun the entire wedding party and guest experience can be.

Mothers of the bride and groom can embrace richer colours and elegant fabrics. Bridesmaids can step outside the traditional pastel palette. And wedding guests have the opportunity to really dress for the occasion.

This is where I think fashion gets especially fun.

Fall brides have options

One thing I want every bride to remember when shopping for her wedding dress is that there isn’t one “right” bridal look.

Your dress should reflect you.

Maybe you’re a romantic lace bride. Maybe you’re looking for something sleek and modern. Maybe you want sleeves. Maybe you want a dramatic train. Maybe you want something completely unexpected.

And sometimes the dress you never imagined yourself wearing becomes the one.
That’s part of the magic of bridal shopping.
